SOCIAL SERVICE

Promote the creation and development of activities that promote dialogue between the University and the different social actors that result in care and services. As well as assisting the university community and other sectors in proposals and strategies that contribute to strengthening the Social Responsibility of the UAM and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Social Service is understood to be the set of activities carried out by students or graduates of the University for the benefit of society and the State, in order to contribute to the economic, political, social and cultural development of our country. Carrying out social service is mandatory and must be carried out as a prerequisite to obtain a bachelor's degree.

COMMUNITY SERVICES

The University fulfills its substantive functions such as Teaching, Research and Dissemination, which in the case of the UAM are inherent, this knowledge is articulated in the University Service, in the application of its functions that strengthen the University Social Responsibility.

An example of this are the University Research Programs that fulfill the substantive functions of the UAM. In addition, there are projects that provide services that seek to support the community and establish a collaboration that enriches both university students and society.

Next, a catalog is offered that informs the community, community services that from their spaces and disciplines are offered in the Units of the UAM: Azcapotzalco, Cuajimalpa, Iztapalapa, Lerma and Xochimilco.

Private sector

One of the functions of the Innovation Department is to support the link between UAM professors-researchers and organizations of various sectors and sizes, with the goal of carrying out projects aimed at improving productivity, competitiveness and sustainability.
