An interdisciplinary academic space with national and international projection, based on the four pillars of learning referred to by UNESCO: learning to learn, learning to be, learning to do and learning to live together. In the area, face-to-face and distance programs designed in the University Units of the UAM, diversified, updated and relevant to the different disciplines of knowledge, are promoted.
Contribute, through continuous learning strategies to:
Position the UAM through the dissemination of scientific-cultural knowledge of academics and researchers.
Develop the human potential of the university community and society.
Plan, organize, direct and control the physical, material, technological and financial resources in the demanded programs.
Propose criteria for the regulations of the Continuing Education of the UAM.
The activities of Continuing Education of the UAM have legal foundations since the beginning of the university, one of its activities being the preservation and dissemination of culture.
Its existence is regulated in the Agreements of the Rector General, in which the general criteria for continuing education courses are established, as well as the economic remuneration of the academic staff that teaches them.

We have around 25,000 students enrolled in our courses.
Be an active UAM professor, attached to an Academic Division.
Sign Annex A1 of the agreement "Release of participation" in English and Spanish.
Have an instructional guide to follow to upload the material to the platform.
Have the digital course material duly referenced, respecting copyright (pdf, videos, questionnaires).
The CGFAyV provides support in editing and creating content.
Coursera Recommendations
It is recommended to take the MasterClass offered by Coursera, in this way we make sure we meet the specifications of the platform, request Lic. Lyvier Samantha Gutiérrez Villa.
Once the teacher provides all the course material, it is uploaded to the platform (the upload time will depend on the extent of the resources).
When the upload of the material has been completed, the teacher proceeds to give Vo.Bo. of the course; After this step, it is sent to Coursera's quality control, the review takes about 15 business days. If there are no observations, the course is opened to the public.
