The Directorate of Cooperation and Inter-institutional Relations promotes the participation of the UAM in important programs, consortiums and cooperation networks, in order to promote linking actions as an articulation axis that contributes to the strengthening of substantive functions, the internationalization process and to the positioning of the university through the participation of students, teachers and managers, to develop joint collaboration projects with social permeability, academic exchange, study stays or research, as well as to promote educational opportunities, financing and scholarships offered by national and foreign organizations for the benefit of the UAM community.
Mission: It is a body that proposes and executes strategies to increase cooperation, exchange and academic mobility with Higher Education Institutions, national and foreign, to strengthen the comprehensive training of University students, as well as the establishment of strategic alliances with the different national and international social, public and private sectors with the aim of dealing with major social problems.
Vission: To be a body that supports internationalization initiatives, as well as strategic linkage modalities, both nationally and internationally, to strengthen the substantive functions of the University.
Strengthen collaborative work between the staff of the Directorate and the units in order to achieve pertinent and effective articulation with national and international external actors.
Compile the strengths in research, university services, university programs and teaching in collaboration with instances of the General Rectory and University Units in order to have an agile and effective management in relations with Higher Education Institutions (IES) and institutions belonging to different sectors and international organizations.
Strengthen outgoing national and international mobility for undergraduate and graduate students with geostrategic criteria.
Strengthen the relationship with Postgraduates to make a nucleus of the institutional strategy of international academic cooperation.
Increase incoming international mobility, especially in postgraduate courses.
Consolidate the position of the UAM as an institution with high capacities in research and teaching at an international level.
Increase the participation of the university community in research projects or programs with national funding and international organizations.
Contribute to the solution of national problems by linking the university community with the different sectors of society, as well as with HEIs and international organizations.
