Incoming Mobility

ACADEMIC MOBILITY

The Autonomous Metropolitan University, through the Institutional Mobility Program (PIM), allows students from our house of studies and from other national or foreign higher education institutions to carry out a study or research mobility stay, through agreements of collaboration or through associations or networks with which academic cooperation instruments have been established for student mobility. This intercultural experience contributes to the academic and personal training of each student, oriented towards their future professional performance.

It is the displacement of students or teachers to another educational institution, public or private.

POSTULATION

Foreign students and students from other universities in the country who wish to carry out a short stay of studies, internships, practices or research at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana.

STUDENTS FROM NATIONAL AND FOREIGN PARTNER EIS

The Academic Divisions of the UAM will be the ones that determine the modality in which the UEA will teach to carry out mobility stays at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The students of national and foreign partner HEIs will be able to carry out a mobility stay at the UAM in the face-to-face or mixed modality during the 2022-Spring quarter (July to September 2022) and the 2022-Autumn quarter (October 2022 to January 2023 )

To the university community its understanding of the measures indicated, highlighting that mobility only in the face-to-face modality will be resumed when the appropriate sanitary conditions exist to do so, in accordance with the provisions and measures issued by the Ministry of Health and the Federal Government of Mexico. , as well as the recommendations of the World Health Organization.

For our house of studies, it is a priority to safeguard the well-being and health of our students and the entire university community.

NATIONAL INCOMING MOBILITY

The Institutional Mobility Program has a wide range of higher education institutions in the country, as well as important research centers for UAM students to carry out a study or research mobility stay.

Due to the progress of vaccination in Mexico City and its suburban area, as well as the gradual reduction of infections associated with SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19) and its variants, the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), within the framework of the Program of Transition of Teaching in the Mixed Modality (PROTEMM), establishes the gradual incorporation into face-to-face activities for the second semester of the year 2022.

The Institutional Mobility Program has a wide range of higher education institutions abroad, with the main universities and research centers in Africa, America, Asia and Europe where UAM students can carry out a study or research stay.
