Postgraduate

UAM specialization, master's and doctoral students who have been accepted or are in the process of being accepted at any Higher Education Institution (HEI) or recognized research centers relevant to the student's academic project.

In this context and with the aim of continuing to support the university community to carry out their mobility stay in National and International Higher Education Institutions, as well as the students of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) interested national and foreign partners (os) in carrying out their mobility stay in our house of studies through the Institutional Mobility Program, the Mobility Coordination Board of the UAM, communicates that, based on the analysis of possible national and international scenarios, it has decided to reactivate Mobility in face-to-face, virtual and mixed modalities, both incoming and outgoing at the undergraduate and postgraduate level during the second semester of 2022.

Requirements


Study Mobility Stays

    Have current enrollment for the school year, and have been enrolled in teaching-learning units in the quarter immediately prior to the date of submission of the application.

    Minimum average of 8.0 (eight point zero).

    Have completed at least one quarter of the corresponding postgraduate study plan.

    Obtain authorization, if applicable, in accordance with the modalities determined by the Divisional Council or by the corresponding Postgraduate Committee.

    In the case of international mobility stays, cover the language level established by the receiving higher education institution.

    The others that are indicated in the study plans and programs or inter-institutional agreements, those determined by the HEIs or receiving research centers and, where appropriate, the mobility network, association or consortium, through which the application is submitted.

Research Mobility Stays

    Be enrolled for the school year, and have been enrolled in teaching-learning units in the immediately preceding quarter, except in postgraduate courses that, due to the nature of their study plans and programs, indicate that the student may be enrolled without academic load.

   Minimum average of 8.0 (eight point zero).

    Have completed at least one quarter of the corresponding postgraduate study plan.

    Obtain authorization, if applicable, in accordance with the modalities determined by the Divisional Council or by the corresponding Postgraduate Committee.

    In the case of international mobility stays, cover the language level established by the receiving higher education institution.

Steps to follow


    Get advice from your thesis director on the best academic options to carry out your study or research mobility stay. The Higher Education Institution, Laboratory or Research Center must be endorsed by the study coordinator.

    Go to the link page and review the current call.

    Go to the Academic Support Area of your University Unit to request information, or if you have any questions or concerns regarding the call.

    Do you meet the requirements? Then you can register online.
In the call you will find the electronic address for registration.

    Submit the required documentation of the corresponding call, in the Academic Support Area of your University Unit according to the type of stay you will carry out.

    Review the list of students registered in the PIM, according to the registration publication dates indicated in the corresponding call.

Note: It is recommended that you plan your mobility stay at least six months in advance. You can review the previous call to guide you.

Calls

The calls for international mobility for postgraduate students are annual, and include a calendar with registration and publication closing periods.
