The application/nomination period takes place three times a year for students to carry out a mobility stay at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana according to the following calendar:

Requirements
Be currently enrolled in the institution of origin.
Be nominated by the mobility or exchange area of the institution of origin.
Have a minimum GPA of 8.0.
Having accredited at least two quarters or the equivalent of the institution of origin.
Have a minimum of 50% credits covered, according to their study plan.
Have a command of the Spanish language B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR); If your mother tongue is different from Spanish.
Documents that must be attached
Institutional application.
Format Application for Participants in Mobility Programs from UAM.
PILA/PAME-UDUAL format (if applicable).
Current academic record.
Explanation letter of reasons.
Copy of official identification (Passport).
If you wish to carry out a research stay, you must attach a summary of your research project and schedule of activities to be carried out at the UAM, approved by your academic coordinator and postgraduate research tutor.
Proof of knowledge of Spanish language B2 or higher (for non-Spanish speaking students).
Copy of the International Medical Insurance during the time of the mobility stay (including repatriation and civil liability). The copy of the policy must be sent to the email movilidadentrante@correo.uam.mx one week before arriving in Mexico City.
If you are interested in doing a study stay at the UAM, these are the requirements to follow:
Go to the Mobility or Exchange Office of your university to find out if there is an agreement with the UAM or any cooperation instrument that allows you to apply to the UAM and do your mobility stay.
Integrate with your study coordinator the proposal of "Application for Mobility Program Participants" with the academic offer that the UAM has.
Follow all the steps that your university asks you to apply to the UAM.
You must submit to your University the documents required for your application..
Wait for the results. The acceptance letter is issued approximately a month and a half after the application period ends.
