Since its foundation, the UAM has developed a series of actions aimed at the care and follow-up of its graduates. The studies of graduates carried out since 1978 stand out, the creation of Offices of Attention to Graduates in all the University Units, the wide offer of courses and continuing education workshops carried out by various instances of the University, job fairs, the stock exchange system of work and the integration of various alumni associations.
In this context, the current administration endorses its interest in institutionally promoting this type of actions with an eminently strategic vision through the recognition and promotion of attention, follow-up and connection with graduates; this with the aim of providing informational-organizational services, and various supports for academic processes through the development of studies and projects, in addition to strengthening the link with graduates in a perspective of integration into the university community beyond its walls.
The Department of Graduates and Employment Exchange aims to establish linkage mechanisms with graduates in order to facilitate their access to information on the employment exchange, qualifications, scholarships, academic updating and other institutional services aimed at raising the sense of pride and belonging to the university community, as well as designing and carrying out follow-up studies of graduates to have the information that supports the evaluation of the relevance and quality of the study plans.
We have 179,852 graduates from all undergraduate programs and 16,061 graduates (AGA, Fall 2021).
