What do you need to carry out a study mobility stay at the UAM?
Review the academic requirements at least five months in advance. You must have the academic application and approval of your university. Check here if your University has a collaboration agreement for student mobility with the UAM or if it participates in any mobility network or program that includes the UAM.

What do you need to carry out a research mobility stay at the UAM?
Review the academic requirements at least five months in advance. You must have the academic application and approval of your university. Have the acceptance of the academic tutor at the UAM. If you have not identified any, you can request support from the UAM incoming mobility office.
Submit a summary of your research project and schedule of activities to be carried out at the UAM.
Follow the steps indicated by your university to apply to the UAM.

Where can I check the UAM school calendar?
The academic periods are quarterly.
The next quarters are scheduled from July to September 2022 and from October 2022 to January 2023.

How many campuses does the UAM have?
The UAM has 5 university units, so we suggest that you review the educational offer of each Unit and its study plan for your choice of Teaching-Learning Units (UEA).
If you are interested in studying at the Xochimilco Unit, the teaching system is modular, which means that there are no individual subjects/subjects, they are taken comprehensively with various components that are evaluated at the end, and a single grade is issued. One module is taken per quarter.
How do I get the acceptance letter, once I have concluded my application process for the UAM?
Your application is reviewed and assessed by the corresponding study coordinator. Once this review has been carried out, and in accordance with the response from the Program Coordinator, the Directorate of Cooperation and Inter-institutional Relations officially communicates the result to your institution, which will send you the acceptance letter.
How many days in advance should I show up to register once I have been accepted?
You must arrive in Mexico City the week before the start of each school year. The date and place are indicated in the acceptance letter issued by the UAM.
Can I request changes in the registration of subjects when I arrive at the university?
Yes, it is possible to make changes, as long as you have the authorization of your home university. It is important that both your university and the UAM are aware of these changes. Notification must be made to the Incoming Mobility Headquarters of the Directorate of Cooperation and Inter-institutional Relations.
Does the UAM have a lodging service?
There is no lodging or student residences; however, in the residential areas close to the university units, private accommodation services are offered for students.
In the case of national mobility, it is suggested to verify if your state has residences for students in Mexico City.
