The UAM has established to resume mobility stays in the virtual and mixed face-to-face modality, incoming and outgoing at the undergraduate and postgraduate level during the second semester of 2022.

What do I need to carry out a mobility stay at the UAM?Abrir Respuesta

We suggest that, at least five months in advance, you review the academic requirements to be covered in the corresponding level of studies and start your application.
You must have the academic application and approval of your university, which must be a member of the UAM through a bilateral agreement or through an academic exchange network.

Where can I consult the programs offered by the UAM? Abrir Respuesta

On the UAM website You will find information on the study plans that correspond to each level, as well as the current school calendar.
The academic periods are quarterly (Winter, Spring and Autumn).
The UAM has 5 university units, so we suggest that you review the educational offer of each Unit and its study plan for your choice of Teaching-Learning Units (UEA).
If you are interested in doing mobility studies at the Xochimilco Unit, the teaching system is modular, which means that there are no individual subjects/subjects, they are studied comprehensively with various components that are evaluated at the end, and a single grade is issued. . One module is taken per term.

How do I get the letter of acceptance of the program in which I want to carry out my study stay? Abrir Respuesta

Your application is reviewed and assessed by the corresponding UAM studies coordinator. Once this review has been carried out, and in accordance with the response of the program coordinator, the Directorate of Cooperation and Inter-institutional Relations officially communicates the result to your institution, which will send you the acceptance letter a month and a half after the end of the period of application.

Can I request changes in the registration of subjects at the beginning of my mobility? Abrir Respuesta

Yes, it is possible to make changes, as long as you have the authorization of your home university. It is important that both your university and the UAM are aware of these changes. The notification must be made to the Department of Cooperation and Inter-institutional Relations of the General Rectory of the UAM (movilidadentrante@correo.uam.mx).

Does the UAM have a lodging service? Abrir Respuesta

There is no lodging or student residences; however, in the residential areas close to the university units, private accommodation services are offered for students.
